CENTENARY OF THE DOMATIC LODGE , No . 177 .

A FESTIVAL in celebration of the completion of one hundred years of continuous working by the Domatic Lodge , now No . 177 , took place on Friday , the 12 th inst ., at the Criterion , Piccadilly . It was found necessary to hold the meutino ; awa y from the regular home of the Lodge

—Anderton ' s Hotel , Fleet Street—in consequence of the capabilities of that establishment being unequal to meet the requirements demanded by this special meeting . This will be readily understood when we say that accommodation had to be made for the comfort of two hundred and

fifty guests , and ample as are the capabilities of Brother Clemow ' s establishment for ordinary occasions , this special gathering was too much for him to undertake , the brethren

therefore assembled at the Criterion , and there the company was so numerous a 3 even to tax this popular establishment to its fullest extent . The following is a list of those present : —
