At the installation meeting of the Royal Connaught Lodge , No . 2676 , Eastbourne , a collection was made on behalf of the Lord Mayor ' s Fund , and realised fifteen guineas .

At a recent meeting of the Bromley St . Leonard Lodge of Instruction , No . 1805 , held at the Bow Bells , Bow Road , a sum of £ 2 . 2 s was granted to the " Daily Telegraph " Soldiers Widows and Orphans Fund .

At the installation meeting of the Lodge of Asaph , No . 1319 , ten guineas was unanimously voted to the " Daily Telegraph " Shilling Fund . This sum was afterwards augmented by private contributions to the amount of £ 4 .

Bro . W . Collis Clark Worshipful Master of the Piccadilly Lodge , " passed round the hat " at a recent meeting , and raised £ 10 10 s for the Lord Mayor ' s fund , after a recitation of Kipling ' s poem on the war by Brother Arthur Barrett .

At the regular meeting of the Burdett Coutts Lodge , No . 1278 , on Wednesday , a donation of ten guineas was voted from the Lodge for the Widows and Orphans Funds , while a subsequent collection made at the dinner table realised £ 3 15 s , all of which it was decided to send to the Lord Mayor ' s Fund .

At the installation meeting of the Duke of Edinburgh Lodge , No . 1259 , held at the Three Nuns Hotel , Aldgate , on Tuesday , 6 th inst ., a proposition from the Secretary to the effect that a sum of twenty-five guineas should be given to the Princess of Wales Widows and Orphans Fund met with unanimous support .
