rTlHE Quarterly Communication of Grand Lodge of JL Mark Master Masons of England and Wales and tho Colonies and Dependencies of the British Crown was held , on the 6 fch inat ., at Mark Masons' Hall . The Marquess of Hertford M . W . Pro Grand Master presided . The Report ofthe General Board , which was adopted , was as follows : —

During the three months ending 30 th September there have been issued Mark certificates , 273 ; total number registered , 30 , 168 . Warrants for new Lodges , viz : —

No . 447 Clarence , Liverpool . „ 448 Hampton Court , Hampton Court „ 449 Mid Sussex , Horsham .

Eoyal Ark Mariner certificates , 47 ; total number registered , 3 , 717 . His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales M . W . Grand Master haa been pleased to re-appoinfc . * R . W . Bro . Sir C . B . Graves-Sawle , Bart ., Provincial Qrand Master for Cornwall for a further term of three years .

R . W . Bro . Charles Letch Mason Provincial Grand Master for West Yorkshire for a further period of three years . The V . W . Bro . L . G . Gordon Robbins P . G . Overseer having requested the opinion of the Board as to the disposal of the funds and property in his custody as Proviucial Grand Treasurer of the late Province of

Middlesex and Surrey , the Board have fully considered the matter , and recommend to Grand Lodge thab Bro . Gordon Robbins be and ia hereby authorised and empowered to hand the same , after payment of all liabilities , to the Grand Treasurer for the time being , to hold until sooh time as the new Provinces or Grand Lodge shall decide

what shall be done with the same , and they ask Grand Lodge to resolve that the receipt of the Grand Treasurer for the timo being shall be a full and sufficient discharge to Bro . Gordon Robbins . The Board also recommend to Grand Lodge that a meeting be summoned ofthe Executive Committee of the late Province of

Middlesex and Surrey , and of the Executive Committees of the present Provinces respectively of Middlesex and Surrey , to take into con . sideralion the disposal of such funds and property , and that the resolutions of such meeting be reportei to next Grand Lodge , to enable th « j Grand Treasurer ( or the time being to act thareon .

The Sab-Committee on Edncation have carefully considered the annual Reports of the Head Masters and Mistresses of the Schools at which the various pupils oa tho Fund are being educated , and have awarded the Silver Medal for Proficiency in Studies and General

there had been a sli g ht difference in the opening , and would be in the closing of Grand Lodge . The alteration had boon submitted to him , and he had accepted it as assimilating the p ractice of Grand Mark Lodge to that of United Grand Lodge . Grand Lodge was then closed , in ample form .
