DEVON EDUCATIONAL FUND .

A MEETING of the General Purposes Committee was held on the 2 nd inst ., at the Freemasons' Hall , Plymouth , for the purpose of making arrangements for the annual meeting to be held on 3 rd of April . It was reported that there were now twenty children on the

Fund , involving an expenditure of £ 300 per annum , and that of this number four . would reach the age limit during this year . It was decided to till all these vacancies at the April election , and in view of the fact that there has

been a satisfactory addition to the income of the society during the past twelve months , it is not improbable , says the " Western Morning News , " that there will be another election in October next .
