A LARGE gathering of distinguished Freemasons met at tho Masonic Hal ! , Watford , on Wednesday , 11 th inst ., when tho Earl of Clarendon Lodge , No . 1984 , was consecrated by the R . W . " Prov . Grand Master for Herts , Bro . T . F . Halsey , Esq ., M . P ., assisted by the V . W . Bro . Colonel Shadwell H . Gierke Grand Secretary . Tho brethren assembled in the larger Hall at about 3 p . m ., and shortly
