M ., who was really the founder and absolute Father of tho Lodge . By his tact and courtesy Bro . Fitzgerald had been the means of cementing the brethren together
into a solid body , and they now boasted sixty membera . They all felt that a good work had been accomplished , and he had now the great pleasure of offering a testimonial to Bro . Fitzgerald , as a mark of esteem , respect , and goodwill , from the members of tbe Lodge . The testimonial took the form of a silver tea and coffee service , together with a silver salver , wifch the following inscription : —

M . of the mother Lodge , on Friday , the 7 th inst ., at the Swiss Cottage Tavern , Finohley Road , N . W . After fche formal business of opening had been gone through , the initiation ceremony
