THE July Quarterly Court of the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls was held on Thursday , when among the business transacted was the settlement of the list of candidates for the October election . For this contest there are thirty-four approved candidates , for whom there will be seventeen vacancies . The

Court was held under the presidency of Bro . J . H . Matthews P . D . G . D . C , who announced that the total subscriptions to the 107 th Anniversary Festival of the Institution , held in May last , with the Earl of Mount-Edgcumbe Deputy Grand Master in the chair , had now reached £ 16 , 016 .
