Robinson , together with Comps . Broaden and Hodgson , were duly installed by Comp . J . Todd . The Officers elected at the previous Chapter were invested by tho M . E . Z ., and Comp . Hollander 1611 was elected a joining member . The Companions dined in the banquet room of the Lodge , when the usual

Loyal and Masonio toasts were duly given and honoured . The M . E . Z ., replying to hia toast , expressed the great gratification it was to occupy the position tho Companions had been pleased to elect him to , and assured them' that no efforts on his part should be vanting to ensure the success of tbe Chapter ancl Royal Arch Masonry . Several Companions contributed to the harmony of the evening , and the proceedings terminated in a most agreeable manner .

DOVE CHAPTER , No . 456 . AT the annnal meeting of the members of this Chapter , held recently , Comp . William Torrence was installed in the First Principal ' s chair , and Comp . Hodgkinson in that of the Third Principal ; Comp . George M . Bond , who should have been installed iu tho Second Principal ' s chair , being unfortunately prevented from attending by illness . The Installing Officer on tho occasion was Comp . Wm .

Brickel P . P . G . P . S . Amongst the visitors present was Comp . Pepper P . G . H ., who availed himself of the opportunity offered after dinner , in responding to tbe toast of the Provincial Grand Chapter , to address some very useful and encouraging remarks to the Companions present upon the work of the Dove Chapter , and upon Royal Arch Masonry in the Province .

— : o : — THE GREAT WESTERN EAILWAY ANNOUNCE that an excursion to Gloucester , Cardiff , Newport , Swansea . New Milford , and other stations in South Wales and

the South - of Ireland will be ran on Friday , 19 th May , and that a fast excursion train for the West of England will leave Paddington at 7 * 45 a . m . on Saturday , 20 th May , reaching Exeter in 5 £ hours and Plymouth in 8 hours . Excursions will also bo run on the same day to Bafcb , Bristol , Dorchester , Weymoatb , the Channel Island ? , Worcester , Malvern , Hereford , Oxford , Leamington , Birmingham ,

Wolverhampton , Shrewsbury , Chester , Liverpool , Manchester , & o . On Whit Sunday a chenp train will run to Swindon , Stroud , Gloucester , and Cheltenham , leaving Paddington at 8 ' 20 a . m . At midnight , on Sunday , an excursion for 1 or 4 days will leave Paddington for Oxford , Birmingham , Wolverhampton , & c . On the Bank Holiday cheap trains will bo run to Maidenhead ,

Reading , Bath , Bristol , Stroud , Gloucester , Cheltenham , & c . Excursions will be run to London from most of the principal stations , and cross country trips have also been arranged . Cheap tickets are now issued daily from London and many suburban stations to Staines , Windsor , Taplow , Maidenhead , Henley , Goring , Wallingford , and other riverside resorts . These tickets can be

obtained throughout the Whitsuntide holidays , and in fact during the whole of the summer months . To meet the expected additional traffic by the ordinary trains on Saturday , 20 fch May , the Company will run in duplicate , the 50 and 9 ' 0 p . m . trains from London to the West of England ; the 10 - 20 a . m ., 3 ' 15 and 915 p . m . trains to Weymouth , Hereford , and South Wales .

The first portions of the 50 and 9 ' 0 p . m . trains will leave Paddington at 4 ' 55 and 8 * 55 p . m . respectively , bnt the first parts of the other trains will leave at the advertised times , and the second a few minntes afterwards , the long distance passengers being as far as possible taken in the first portion , but with a few exceptions both trains will stop at the advertised stations to take up and set down

passengers .
