The sister Institutions were represented by their respective Sectaries , Bros . F . Binckes P . G . S ., and James Terry Prov G . S . W . Norths and Hunts . The dinner

was , as is invariably the case , in the very lest style of Freemasons' Tavern , and the requisite attendance on the needs of the guests , both ladies and brethren , was carefully superintended by Bro . A . Best , and his right hand man Bro . Dawkins . The musical arrangements , which had been entrusted to Miss Marian Burton , gave every

satisfaction . As to the actual proceedings of the Festival we need say nothing further here ; they are duly chronicled in another page . Turn we therefore , afc once to the result , which , as we have already stated , amounted to the very considerable ,

if not unexampled sum of £ 13 , 232 . Of this £ 5 , 624 were contributed by the Lodges in the Metropolitan district , and £ 7 , 608 by the Provinces . As regards the former we note that the House Committee , when totalled up , head the list with a satisfactory £ 143 17 s . Lodges Nos . 73 . and 79

share between them second honours , Bros . Free and Roberts , the respective representatives , each sending a lisfc of £ 141 15 s . Bro . F . J . Stohwasser Steward No . 567 gave £ 138 12 s . Bro . Edmondston , acting on behalf of Lodge

No . 1669 , contributed £ 130 , Brother W . H . Dean , Lodge No . 1900 , being close at his heels with £ 129 3 s 6 d . Lodge No . 1475 , per Bro . T . Jackson , is down for £ 119 14 s , while Chapter No . 2 , and Lodges Nos . 1524 , 1686 , and 1745 severally contribute one hundred guineas .

Bro . Augustus Darch's list for No . 72 totals up to £ 101 , and there are others , sucb as Friends in Council Lod ge , No . 1383 , which exceed £ 90 . It should be added that the list of our worthy Bro . Rev . C . J . Martyn , acting on behalf of Royal Alpha , No . 16 , includes a contribution of

25 guineas from the Chairman , His Royal Highness the Duke of Connaught ; and that Sir J . B . Monckton ' s list , as an unattached Steward , is swelled to the extent of 65 guineas by the contribution of £ 42 , per Bro . the Lord Mayor , Grand Junior Warden , who has kindly undertaken to preside at the Boys' School .

Of the Provinces no less than thirty are represented , and among them they have subscribed the total of £ 7 , 608 Warwickshire enjoys the honour of heading the list , with the handsome total of £ 810 10 s , the result of the labours of Lord Leigh and thirty-six other Stewards . Yorkshire

( West ) has contributed £ 650 , and Yorkshire ( N . and E . ) £ 500 . Berks and Bucks gives close on £ 200 , and Cheshire nearer £ 300 than £ 200 . Derbyshire figures well , for over £ 450 ; Sussex has done loyally in contributing about a score less pounds than £ 600 . Middlesex is represented to

the extent of over £ 400 , Kent to that of £ 356 , and " little " Herts by over £ 325 . Staffordshire has handed in close on £ 290 , and Hants and fche Isle of Wight £ 273 . North Wales and Salop , Notts , Northumberland ,

Devonshire , and Oxfordshire figure for £ 352 10 s , £ 236 , £ 183 , £ 318 , and £ 149 respectively . We are sorry to see that Cambridgeshire ' and Herefordshire are among the ab . sentees . Following is the list of Donations and Subscriptions : — -
