ON Wednesday evening another event in connexion with Freemasonry took place at Freemasons' Kali , Great Qncenstreet , viz ., tho Installation of H . ll . If . tho Prince of Wales as First Principal of tho Supremo Degree of Royal Arch Masons . The meetings generally arc hold in a small room , but ou this occasion the Temple where Grand Lodge meetings aro holtlcn was used . At 1 o ' clock a procession of Grand Officers entered . C . imp . These petitions being in all respects regular , the Committee recommend that the prayers thereof bo respectively granted , although they have not lost sight of the fact that the Pacific Lodge , No . 1453 , has
not been three years in existence . As however , it is situated in the Province of Nelson , where at present no Chapter exists , the Committee recommend that tho accustomed limitation of three years be not in this case insisted on .
Tho Marquis of Ripon having addressed a letter to the Grand Scribe E ., resigning the Trusteeship of the Funds of Grand Chapter , the Committee recommend that the resignation be accopted , and the necessary steps taken for carrying it into effect , which was done accordingly ; and Comps .
