REPORTS OF MEETINGS .
We shall be pleased , to receive particulars of Masonic meetings for insertion in our columns , and -where desired will endeavour to send a representative to report Lodge or other proceedings .
CRAFT : METEOPOLITAN .
TEMPLE LODGE , No . 101 . InOB the past few years tbe historic Temple Lodge , No . 101 , mainly ' composed o £ Camberwell Brethren , has been honoured hy the presence of ladies at an up-river excursion , that of last year during tbe Mastership ot Bro . Harry Wood being most successful . The departure introduced by Bro . Frank Williams P . M ., in 1891 , in holding a ladies' banquet , concert , and
ball at the Ship and Turtle was again recognised on Tuesday , 28 th ult ., under the able presidency of Brother Frank Wint W . M ., who was heartily supported by Bros . Frank Williams P . M . and Treasurer , and W . Briant , through whose indefatigable exertions the whole gathering was most successfully carried out .
Tne proceedings commenced with a Lodge emergency at 4-30 , when Brothers Saunders and Gunton were raised and Mr . Gluckstein Abrahams initiated into the mysteries of Masonry by the W . M . The dispensation having been read granting permission to wear full Masonic clothing at the banquet and ball , the Lodge business ended . A reception was then held in the drawing room of the Hotel by Brother
Frank Wine and Mrs . Wint , during which a splendid bouquet was presented to Mrs . Wint by Bro . Frank Williams P . M ., who said : In the name of the Brethren of tho Temple Lodge , to mark their high appreciation , I have the greatest possible pleasure in presenting this bouquet ; and although these beautiful flowers will fade , I trust that the memory of this happy meeting will be ever cherished in our hearts .
The reception concluded , the company adjourned to a recherche banquet supplied by the worthy proprietor , Brother C . J . Painter , and personally superintended by Bro . Ashby . The toast of the W . M . was proposed by Bro . Harry Wood I . P . M ., who remarked that the large number of visitors around the festive tables showed the high esteem in which the W . M . ( their worthy president ) was held , and also testified to the very able manner in which he discharged the duties of his high office .
Bro . Wint , in reply , most heartily thanked the company for drinking so cordially to the toast , and for the high honour they had done him by being present that evening . The toast of the Ladies was ably proposed by Bro . Frank Williams , who stated that at the command of the W . M . to take the position of Secretary and Treasurer , he , as a Mason , loyally obeyed .
The toast was responded to in a neat speech by Mr . Frank Wint jun . Upon the conclusion of the banquet , the company retired to the ball room , where they were soon engaged to the lively strains of Thorpe ' s Military Band . At the next meeting the Brethren intend to present a handsome gold jewel to Brother Wint W . M ., to show their high appreciation of his services during his year of office , says the ' South London Press . "
ISRAEL LODGE , No . 205 . THF installation meeting was held at the Cannon Street Hotel , on Tuesday , 28 th ult ., when the Mayor of Southampton , Bro . M . Emanuel , J . P ., who is a Past Master of the Lodge , received a special invitation to be present . In tbe course of the evening tbe W . M . Bro . Berlyn proposed the health of the Visitors , calling attention to the honour which had been bestowed upon one of their Past Masters by the Municipality of Southampton , the Corporation of which town , he remarked , had elected him as chief magistrate , while Masonically he also held high office in the Province .
Bro . Emanuel expressed his gratification at the reception accorded him , which was by no means the least interesting feature in the evening's proceedings .
DUKE OF CONNAUGHT LODGE , No . 1524 . ON the 30 th ult ., at Anderton ' s Hotel , Fleet Street , Bros . Esmond J . Turnbull W . M ., Oakley S . W ., Pearse J . W ., W . H . Brand P . M . Treas ., C . Lorkin P . M . Sec , several members of the Lodge , Bro . W . Mason Stiles Grand Treasurer , and a large number of other visitors . ' The installation of Bro . W . T . Oakley was regularly performed , and he afterwards initiated several candidates in a very praiseworthy manner .
The installation working throughout was magnificently done by Bro . E . J . Turnbull I . P . M ., who is a perfect master of the ritual . Eighty-three Brethren sat down to a sumptuous banquet , the music following which was under the direction of Bros . G . Buzzard and F . Henderson . Pianist , Miss Harmer ; artists , Madame Franklin , Miss Theresa Kellaway , Mr . Percy White , Mr . J . W . Harris , Bros . W . W . Eobinson and Harmer .

Edmund Bosenthal W . M ., who regularly installed his successor . Bro . Harry Nichols and W . S . Penley were invested as Senior and Junior Wardens respectively .

CATOR LODGE . No . 2266 . THE Brethren held a ladies' night at the Holborn Bestaurant on Friday , 24 th ult ., the whole being excellently arranged , and proving an entire success . About 250 were present , and a banquet and concert were held in the Venetian Chamber , after which the King ' s Hall was occupied for a ball . A special dispensation to wear Masonic clothing was granted .
A jewel was presented to the daughter of the Worshipful Master of the Cator Lodge by the Brethren , as a token of their appreciation of his successful efforts to bring about such a pleasant evening .

The 1 st section of the lecture was worked by Bro . G . Edwards .
Votes of thanks were unanimously accorded to the supper and testimonial Committees , and Bro . Clinton of the Mother Lodge , No . 1524 , was elected , a member .
CRUSADERS LODGE , No . 1677 . ON the 31 st ult ., at the Northampton Arms , Goswell Boad , Bros . J . W . Doubtfire W . M ., A . J . Blake S . W ., M . Bobinson J . W ., W . J . Hunter Treas ., E . Dimes Sec , C . Weeden Preceptor . The ceremonies of initiation and passing were rehearsed . The W . M . vacated the chair in favour of Bro . Preceptor , who rehearsed the installation ceremony and installed Bro . Doubtfire into the chair , who , having invested his Officers , resumed and closed the Lodge .
At the next meeting two ballots will bo taken in the Crusaders Charitable Association .

Bro . Piatt answered the questions leading to the second degree , and the ceremony of passing was rehearsed . Bro . Matthews answered questions leading to the third degree . Bro . Johnson was elected W . M ., after which a meeting of the Masonic Charities Association was held , Bro . Dunstan presiding . Five ballots were taken .

TBE annual festival took place on Tuesday , 28 th ult ., at the Prince Begent Hotel , Dulwich Road , when some forty Brethren sat down to a wellserved banquet , provided by Bro . Revill , the proprietor . Tho chair was occupied by Bro . G . R . Langley ( who was appointed Preceptor to the Lodgo in the place of the late Bro . Francis ) , who was supported by Bro . D . D . Mercer P . G . P . Senior Vice-President of the Board of Benevolence , & c .
After the usual lo \ al toasts , the health of the President was proposed in feeling terms by Bro . Blenkarn , and suitably responded to by Bro . Langley . The Chairman then gave the toast of the evening , the Brixton Lodge of Instruction and the Benevolent Association , coupling with it the names of
Bros . Axford Treasurer , Ellinger Secretary , Carpenter Assistant Secretary , and Hooper Secretary of the Benevolent Association . The speakoi- took the opportunity of thanking the Brethren and many South London Lodges for the liberal way in which they had responded to the appeal made on behalf of the Francis Memorial Fund , the amount subscribed having reached the
