REPORTS OF MEETINGS .
We shall be pleased to receive particulars of Masonic meetings for insertion in our columns , and where desired will endeavour to sand a representative , to report Lodge or other proceedings .

THB last mooting oi this popular Lodge for the season took place on Monday , 2 nd inst ., at Anderton ' s Hotel , Fleet Street , when there were present , Bros . F . A . Taylor W . M ., W . Smith I . P . M ., G . Body S . W ., Jos . Cohen W . M . 2184 J . W ., F . Dunn P . M . Treas ., A . Darch P . M . Sec , 0 . H . Randall S . D ., J . Fisk J . D ., Collins I . G ., H . B . Smith Steward , J . Wynman , and others . The W . M . took the chair at 4 * 30 , and the minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed . The Lodge was opened in the second degree , and Bros . H . Scullard and T . Crabtree were introduced as F ' ellow Crafts . Having answered the usual questions , in a most satisfactory manner they were entrusted and retired in regular form .
By permission of the W . M . Brother A . Darch P . M . the very able Secretary of the Lodge took the chair , and opened the Lodge in the third degree . The candidates were re-admitted and regularly raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason , Bro . Darch discharging his duties as acting W . M . in his nsual perfect manner . The W . M . having re-occupied his chair ,
resumed the Lodge to the first degree , and Bros . Cooper , Garrard , Monteillet and Whit-bread , who were initiated at the previous meeting , were examined . Having answered the questions they were entrusted and retired . Lodge was again advanced to the second degree , and in due course the four Brethren were passed a step in Freemasonry .
The W . M . again resumed the Lodge to the first degree , and Mr . Simon Harry Brooks was presented as a candidate to participate in the mysteries of ancient Freemasonry , the ballot having been proved unanimous in his favour . That gentleman was duly initiated into tne Craft . There being no further business on the programme the Lodgo was closed , and the Brethren retired to the banqueting room , where an excellent dinner was provided , Bro . Leslie Barry , manager o £ tbe Hotel , looking most carefully to the comfort of the guests . Bro . Collings , who is well known amongst the Fraternity , rendered his usual satisfactory assistance .
The cloth removed , the W . M . gave the usual toasts , which were deceived in a kindly manner . Bro . Smith I . P . M ., in proposing the health of the W . M ., said that the W . M . had fulfilled his duties in an exemplary manner . They had a long list before theni , therefore they must curtail the speeches . He hoped the W . M . would have an extra good year of office .
The W . M . thanked Bro . Smith for his good wishes , and the Brethren for having received the toast in so cordial a manner . He then expressed satisfaction with the arrangements being made for the summer outing , and said thu Brethren would receive due notice -from their worthy Secretary as soon as details were arranged . The W . M . referred to a letter he had received from Bro . W . R . Russell P . M ., from which they would be pleased to learn that Bro . Russell was progressing most favourably .
The W . M . next presented the toast of the initiate , to whom he tendered a hearty and fraternal welcome . Bro . H . Scullard , who was initiated on a previous occasion , but was omitted to be called upon to respond , said when he was initiated they would remember it was an emergency night , and there was no banquet . He felt there was something lacking , and at the second meeting he found out what
the lack was . He felt he had heen robbed of his birthright , but was very glad the W . M . and Brethren had drunk his health that night . He promised he would endeavour to prove himself a good Mason . Bro . Brooks also most sincerely thanked the W . M . for having initiated him into the mysteries of the Craft . In time to come he hoped that the W . M . and Brethren would be yet further satisfied with him .
The W . M . next gave the toast of the visitors , saying that the Royal Jubilee Lodge gave them a most hearty greeting , and hoped they had enjoyed themselves . This toast was ably responded to by Bro . Cooper , G . North Wilson P . M ., and others . '
Bro . Taylor W . M . said he had now very much pleasure to propose the health of the I . P . M . and Past Masters , who were the backbone of the Lodge , and with their able assistance it would be possible to surmount every difficulty . Bro . Smith I . P . M . thanked the W . M . and Brethren in happy terms . The last
Masters were always pleased to give every assistance that was required of them . He had very much pleasure to inform the Brethren that he would represent the Lodge as Steward at the next Festival of the Boys School , and hoped to receive the usual liberal support of the Brethren on behalf of the Centenary .
The W . M . gave the Treasurer , Secretary , and Officers of the Lodge , saying he could not speak too highly of their capabilities . He thanked them for their kind assistance .
Bro . Dunn Treasurer thanked the W . M ., and was pleased to say the Lod ge was iu a good financial position . He felt sure Bro . Smith would represent the Lodge with flying colours . Bro . Darch said ho was pleased to hold the position ol Secretary of the Lodge . It was always a pleasure to him to do everything in his power for its welfare
Bros . Body and Cohen Wardens also suitably responded , after which the f yler gave the concluding toast . During the evening a choice selection of music was provided , amongst others who contributed being Messrs . Atkinson , Bro . ROYAL ALFRED LODGE , No . 780 . ON Thursday , 28 th , at the Star and Garter Hotel , Kew Bridge , Bro . W , Langdon W . M ., F . J . Cross S . W ., R . W . Robinson J . W ., F . 3 . Larkman Treas ., J . H . Gumming Sec , E . H . Wilcox S . D ., 0 . Humble J . D ., R . H . Williams Preceptor , A . H . Bridger I . G ., F . Craggs P . M ., W . Fisher P . M ., J . Dinnis P . M ., H . R . Worth , H . T . Johnson , and others . Lodge was opened in due form , and the ceremony of initiation waa rehearsed , Bro . F . 3 . Larkman candidate .
The Lodge was then called off and on . Brother Worth answered the questions leading to the second degree , the Lodge was opened up , and the ceremony of passing rehearsed . Lodgo was resumed to the first degree . Bro . Cross was unanimously ' elected to fill the chair at the next meeting . The Preceptor expressed his opinion that Bro . Langdon was making great progress ih carrying out the duties of the W . M . ' s chair .
KENNINGTON LODGE , No . 1381 . r * nHE annual supper of this Lodge of Instruction was held at the Horns , JL Kennington , on the 22 nd ult ., when Bro . Chisholm W . M . ofthe Mother Lodge presided , and was supported by Bro . O'Dea P . M . Preceptor , and a large number of Brethren .
In the course of tbe after proceedings the President proposed success to the Lodge of Instruction , which was acknowledged by Bro . O'Dea , who said he considered their Lodge of Instruction the finest in London , possessing the finest room in South London for its meetings .
WOODROW LODGE , * No . 1708 . ON Monday , at Bro . Rudderforth ' s ( the esteemed host of Stone ' s Restaurant ) , Panton Street , Haymarket , Bro . W . West W . M ., E . Nice S . W ., J . W . Warwick J . W ., C . Woodrow P . M . Prec , I . W . Simeons Sec , 3 . Strong W . M . 1044 S . D ., G . Spice J . D ., A . Butcher I . G ., W . Rudderforth P . M ., W . Jesseman P . M . 1044 , T . Detrez , J . Wynman , & c
The ceremony of initiation was rehearsed , Bro . Detrez candidate . The Worshipful Master , who is only a young Mason , showed bis ability by rendering the Ancient Charge , which gave great satisfaction . The Lodge was called off and on . Resuming , Bro . E . Nice worked the first section of the lecture , and Bro . G . Spice the second . Bro . Nice was elected W . M . for next Monday ' s meeting .
ouu TERRIERS LODGE , No . 2184 . ON Wednesday afternoon , at 3 p . m ., the Brethren of this perfect working Lodge , which has the benefit of Bro . A . Darch P . M . as Preceptor , assembled at their new and more commodious abode , the well-known house of Mr . J . C . Lee , the Dover Castle , Westminster Bridge Road .
Bro . 0 . Wetton acted as W . M ., Bro . Mark S . W ., Randall J . W ., A . Darch P . M . Preceptor , E . Sinclair P . M . Sec , Isaac Levy S . D ., Horton J . D ., Cohen I . G ., ' H . Clemow P . M ., Janavvay P . M ., Joseph Cohen P . M ., Bukel , Stanton , White , Shaw , Rily , Hirch , Nelson , Biddy , 0 . Merry , Wright , Walker , Holmes , Cronin , Seaward , Wynman , & c .
' The Lodge being duly formed the minutes of the last meeting were read , and Brother Wetton . W . M . then had very much pleasure in proposing the prosperity of the Lodge in its new home , together with the health and prosperity of their able Preceptor Bro . A . Darch , to which the Brethren responded in true Masonic manner .
Bro . Darch , in reply , said he was most delighted to see Bro . Joseph Cohen there , as he was the actual founder of the Terriers Lodge , and it was owing to his great kindness that the Lodge had the use of its Masonic furniture . Now that Bro . Cohen had again made his appearance in the Lodge he uoped he would make it convenient to come more ofton than he had lately done .
Bro . Cohen said he was very pleased that he had done what ne had for the Lodge . Whenever he could be ot any assistance he would be happy to do what lay in his power . Concerning the furniture , the Lodge was quite welcome to it . He noped the Terriers Lodge would remain in existence for many years to come , and work in harmony and brotherly love , which reply was highly appreciated by the Brethren .
The W . M . informed the Brethren of his intention of rehearsing the ceremony of initiation , for which Bro . Nelson kindly offered himself candidate . Tbe ceremony was gone through in a perfect manner . The ceremony of installation was renearsed , Bro . Joseph Cohen being presented by Bro . E . Sinclair as W . M .-elect . After the obligation and following ceremony the W . M . wes saluted in the different degrees . Brother Sinclair acted as D . C , and Bro . Wetton delivered the three addresses in most
admirable manner . Bro . Darch proposed that a hearty vote fit thanks be recorded on the minutes for the excellent way in whicn the W . M . had fulfilled the duties in their new Masonic Rooms for the first time , which compliment was acknowledged in a Uow of highly appreciated words . Bro . H . Clemow P . M . was elected a member . Bro . Mark was chosen the W . M . for next meeting , and the widow of a late Brother was relieved .
We again draw the attention of our readers to the fact that the Terriers Lodge meets every Wednesday , at 3 o ' clock , Brother Darch P . M . being the Preceptor , and we can say with confidence that it will be difficult to hud a better and more patient instructor than he . The new address is the Dover Castle , Westminster Bridge Koad .

LODGE OF INSTRUCTION No . 581 . THE bi-monthly meeting was held at the Old Boar ' s Head , Manchester , on Tuesday , 26 th ult ., Bro . Alfred Hebden P . M . P . P . G . D . D . C . Preceptor . There was a very good attendance . The ceremony of raising was rehearsed , Bro . John Jackson 1345 being the candidate . Bro . Matthew Gotb Std . Faith Lodge , No . 581 , undertook the ceremonial , and acquitted himself so satisfactorily as to receive the commendations of tho Preceptor . The working tools were presented and explained by Bro . Geo . T . Lenard P . M . Treasurer , who also delivered the traditional history .
