brought to a close , the brethren adjourned to an excellent dinner . The usual toasts were drank , interspersed by somo excellent singing , from Bros . Newland , Debenham , Barrat , and Price . John ' s Lodge ,
Wellington , No . 601 , over which was a trophy of flags , streamers , and shield , Prince of Wales plume . Then came the banner of Castle Lodge , Bridgnorth , No . 1621 ; above being placed a ti-ophy of flags , streamers , and shield , with the Royal monogram in gilt on a blue ground . Next we observed tho banner of the Audley Lodge ,
Whitchurch , No . 1896 , with trophy of flags , streamers , and shield , Royal Standard . In the left corner of tho room , on the North end , were staged genestas , cinerarias , begonias , and castor oil plants , above being fixed a trophy of flags , shield , and streamers . In the centre , at tho north end of the room w . as placed a device , with the
motto "Audi , Vide , Taco , below which was a crown and motto , "Lodgo of Marches , 611 , " designed and exquisitely painted by Mr . R . Roberts , Corvo Street ( son of Alderman Roberts ) . Between the north-east door and the mantlepioce was suspended an oil painting of the Hon . Miss Ledger , the female Freemason , and painted by
George Lowe , of Stockport , in 1857 . This picture formed a great centre of attraction to the fair sex . In the centre of the wall was placed the Royal Coat of Arms , flanked by Royal Standards and Naval ensigns . From tho Royal Arms was suspended the magnificent , banner of the Provincial Gv-nnd Lodge , and the . banner
of the Lodge of the Marches , designed by Mr . Robert Roberts , the title ancl borough arms being most beautifully worked in silk by Miss Ada Putman , daughter of Bro . W . Putman , P . G . D . This banner has also a representation of the Princo of Wales ' s plume , in real ostrich tips , provided by Mr . R . Roberts . Between the
mantelpieces stood a splendid specimen of the New Zealand flax plant , from Downton Hall Conservatory , together with calceolarias and spirea . The supper room was also tastefully decorated with flngs , & c . The whole of the decorations were successfully and satisfactorily effected by Mr . Singleton Tomlinson , High Street , under the
direction and personal supervision of Mr . Arthur Marston , Dinham . The time pieces for use in the ball room were supplied by Mr . E . Robinson , Broad Street . The supper was of the most recherche description ; Mr . Henry Carter , of the Castle Hotel , catering * with his usual ability , and giving the utmost satisfaction to the
Committe and members generally . Tbe waiting arrangements were under the personal supervision of Mr . James Harris , Corve Street . The cloak rooms were in charge of Mr . S . Cooke , Mr , James Harris , and Miss L . Vale . Wines were supplied by Mr . C . F . Keysell , Bull Ring , Ludlow . Dancing commenced about 9 * 20 , to the

five of their members to attend the meeting . Other business having been transacted , tlio W . M . waa heartily congratulated by tho visitors present , and Lodge was closed in ancient form . The brethren then adjourned to the Lyric Hall , Ealing , where a vory excellent banquet was partaken of . Tho nsual Loyal and Masonic toasts were
proposed by the W . M . and duly honoured . The health of the Worshipfnl Master was proposed by Bvo . Botley , who said ho felt proud of having installed so worthy a brother ; he had had the opportunity of watching the steady progress of tho W . M . from the foundation of tho Lodge , their Worshipful Master being ono of tho founders ; he had
done his duty to the satisfaction of the brethren and of his conscience . The Worshipful Master thanked Brother Botley for the manner in which ho had given tho toast , and the brethren for the kind way in which they had responded to it ; ho was vory pleased indeed to bo in the position of their Worshipful Master ,

RICHMOND LODGE , No . 2032 . UNDER the most gratifying auspices , the installation meeting of this young bnfc vigorous Lodge was held afc the Station Hotel , Richmond , < u \ Tuesday . Thero was a goodly attendance of members nnd visitors , under the presidency of Bro . W . R . Phillips P . M . 975 , Worshipful Master . Lodge was opened in form , and the minutes of the last meeting read and confirmed , after which the
report of the Audit Committee , which showed the Lodge to be in si sound financial position , was submitted nnd approved . Bro . John P . Houghton was then presented as the Worshi pful Master-elect , and having assented in due form to tho usual interrogatories , a Board of Installed Masters was constituted , and the ceremony of installation
was performed in impressive and perfect manner b y the retiring Master , Bro . Phillips . On the re-admission of fche brethren , the newly-installed W . M . was proclaimed and saluted with honours iu the throe degrees , and he then proceeded to invest his Officers for the year , as follow : —Bros . W . R , Phillips I . P . M ., E . Dare S . W .

all present . Subsequently the ballot was opened for Mr . George Brodie Wheeler , who had been proposed by Bro . Ford , ancl seconded by Bro . Blasby P . M . The voting was unanimously in favour , and
the candidate was duly initiated into the mysteries and privileges of Freemasonry , the ceremony being worked by the now Master in a style of perfection which gave promise , of proficiency during his year of office . Propositions were handed in for two eandirlat . es and one
