Preceptor , who gave a most interesting account of the many visits he had made to several Country Lodges during the extended tour he is making for the benefit of his health , and spoke of the extremely cordial manner in which he was received .

After some little consideration it was decided to have the usual summer picnic , the same to take place on Monday , 19 th June . Bakewell is the place selected , with a drive to Haddon Hall , Rowsley , Chatsworth , Darley Dale , and Matlock ; and given a fine day , a very great treat is in store for the members and their friends .
