PROBITY LODGE , No . 61 . THE brethren celebrated their annual festival at the Freemasons Hall , Halifax , on the 22 nd nit . Tbe meeting possessed special interest , it being the commencement of the 150 th or third jubilee year of the Lodge . The Lodge had the presence and snpport of the ,

Right Worshipfnl Provincial Grand Master , Thomas W . Tew , J . P ., with his Deputy Provincial Grand Master , and a goodly array of Past and Present Provincial Grand Officers . The installation ceremony was admirably conducted by Bro . George Buckley jun ., assisted by Bros . Booth , Whiteley , and Balme . The following

The W . M . then requested the Provincial Grand Master to present , in the name of the Lodge , a P . M . ' s jewel to the I . P . M ., bearing the following inscription : —

" Presented to W . Bro . Major Cecil Conor P . M ., by the members of the Lodge of Probity , No . 61 , as a mark of their respect aud esteem . 23 rd January 1888 . " The brethren then celebrated the Festival of Sfc . John tbe

Evangelist . The sister Lodges of the town were largely represented . A very pleasant evening was spent , and the nsnal toasts were honoured .

THE annnal festival was held afc the Swan Hotel , Harleston , on the 23 rd ult ., when Bro . John Aldona jun . was installed as Worshipfnl Master of the Lodge for the ensuing year . THE annual installation took place at Lewes , on the 18 th nlfc . The brethren met at the Masonic Hall , the attendance being very numerous . Bro . S . Peters ( Brighton ) was duly installed ai W . M . for tbe year ensuing . The ceremony was performed by the retiring W . M ., Bro . G . Holman , and tbe addresses were delivered by Bros . Tanner and Every . THE annual installation took place at Lewes , on the 18 th nlfc . The brethren met at the Masonic Hall , the attendance being very numerous . Bro . S . Peters ( Brighton ) was duly installed ai W . M . for tbe year ensuing . The ceremony was performed by the retiring W . M ., Bro . G . Holman , and tbe addresses were delivered by Bros . Tanner and Every . with a handsome new silk banner , for use at the Provincial gatherings , the gift of Mrs . G . Holman . The banquet took place at th « White Hart Hotel , and was provided in an admirable style by Mrs , G . Holman .

fpHE annual festival took place on the 25 th ult ., at the Threo -L Choughs Hotel , Yeovil , when there was a fair attendance of brethren , the visitors including Bros . Rev . W . Mortimer H ^ ath Past Grand Chaplain of England , G . Masters 1168 , Rewsey 437 , Leach 437 , and J . Bowsey 437 . Bro . Gillard was installed in thw chair as VV . M . for tbe ensuing year , the ceremony being performed by Bro .
