Lodge Canongate , Kilwinning , Edinburgh , No . 2 . — The annual meeting for the election of Office Bearers for year 1875-6 took place on the evening of 24 th nit ., and there was a numerous attendance of the brethren , including Bros . Tho Lodge was thereafter called from labour to refreshment , and the brethren proceeded , according to ancient custom , to celebrate the Festival of St . John tho Baptist . Deputations were received from the Lodge of Edinburgh ( Mary ' s Chapel ) No . 1 , Canongate and Leith L . and C .

No . 5 , St . John , Fishenow No . 112 , Edinburgh Defensive Band No . 151 , Trafalgar , Leith , No . 223 , and many visiting brethren attended . A very happy evening was spent , enlivened by a variety of excellent songs , and by able performances on the organ , kindly rendered by Bros . Davidson and Frost . Ultimately the Lodge was recalled to labour , and closed in due form .

Faith Lodge of Instruction , No . 141 . —A meeting was held at 2 Westminster Chambers , Victoria Street , S . W ., on Tuesday , 29 th June . Present—Bros . Shand W . M ., Hunt S . W ., Stiles J . W ., Leggott S . D ., Mason J . D ., Footel . G ., Cottebrune P . M . Preceptor , Bassington Secretary . Past Masters—Bros . Bull , Swallow , Scott , Dunham and Robinson , and several other brethren . The Lodge was opened in due

form , with solemn prayer , and the minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed . Tho ceremony of initiation was ably rehearsed , Bro . Belfrage candidate . The first , second and third sections of tho first lecture were worked by the brethren , under the direction of Past Masters Scott , Swallow , and Cottebrune respectively . Tho W . M . called off from labour to refreshment , and afterwards called on from refreshment to labour . Tho Lodge voted a donation

to a distressed brothei-. Bro . Hunt S . W . was unanimously elected W . M . at ensuing meeting , aud after a cordial vote of thanks to tho W . M ., to be recorded on the minutes , for his able and efficient conduct in the chair for the first time , the Lodge was closed in duo form with solemn prayer , and in porfect harmony . The ceremony of installa . tion will be worked in this Lodge , by Bro . Cottebrune , on Tuesday next , Gth July , at 8 o ' clock .

Lodge of Lights , No . 148 , Warrington . —The regular monthly meeting of this Lodge was held at tho Masonic Rooms , on Monday cvrning last . The W . M . Dr . Bowes , P . Prov . G . Reg . he was entrusted . The Lodge was opened in the second degree , Bro . Paterson re-admitted and passed by tho W . M ., who also delivered the lecture on the Tracing Board of the Second Degree ; the working tools wero presented by the S . W ., Bro . W . H . Robinson . Tho Lodge was closed in tho second degree . Threo gentlemen wero proposed as fit and proper persons to bo received into tho Order .

Bro . Robert Gibbons , who was elected an annuitant of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution at the recent meeting , was unauimonsly elected an honorary member of tho Lodge . Hearty good wishes were tendered by the visitors , and the routine business having beon completed , the Lodge was closed in solemn form , and the brethren adjourned for refreshment .

Lodge of True Friendship , No . 160 . —The installation meeting of this old and distinguished Lodge took place in the Lodge room , at the Old Shi p Inn , Rochford , on Thursday , the 24 th inst ., when Pro . Joseph Reeve , the W . M . elect , was duly installed for tho ensuing year . The ceremony of installation was performed by Worshipful Brother W . Pissey P . M . No . lfiO and P . P . J . G . W ., W . Tho Lodge was thereafter called from labour to refreshment , and the brethren proceeded , according to ancient custom , to celebrate the Festival of St . John tho Baptist . No . 5 , St . John , Fishenow No . 112 , Edinburgh Defensive Band No . 151 , Trafalgar , Leith , No . 223 , and many visiting brethren attended . A very happy evening was spent , enlivened by a variety of excellent songs , and by able performances on the organ , kindly rendered by Bros . Davidson and Frost . Ultimately the Lodge was recalled to labour , and closed in due form .

Faith Lodge of Instruction , No . 141 . —A meeting was held at 2 Westminster Chambers , Victoria Street , S . W ., on Tuesday , 29 th June . Present—Bros . Shand W . M ., Hunt S . W ., Stiles J . W ., Leggott S . D ., Mason J . D ., Footel . G ., Cottebrune P . M . Preceptor , Bassington Secretary . Past Masters—Bros . Bull , Swallow , Scott , Dunham and Robinson , and several other brethren . The Lodge was opened in due

form , with solemn prayer , and the minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed . Tho ceremony of initiation was ably rehearsed , Bro . Belfrage candidate . The first , second and third sections of tho first lecture were worked by the brethren , under the direction of Past Masters Scott , Swallow , and Cottebrune respectively . Tho W . M . called off from labour to refreshment , and afterwards called on from refreshment to labour . Tho Lodge voted a donation

to a distressed brothei-. Bro . Hunt S . W . was unanimously elected W . M . at ensuing meeting , aud after a cordial vote of thanks to tho W . M ., to be recorded on the minutes , for his able and efficient conduct in the chair for the first time , the Lodge was closed in duo form with solemn prayer , and in porfect harmony . The ceremony of installa . tion will be worked in this Lodge , by Bro . Cottebrune , on Tuesday next , Gth July , at 8 o ' clock .

M ., who also delivered the lecture on the Tracing Board of the Second Degree ; the working tools wero presented by the S . W ., Bro . W . H . Robinson . Tho Lodge was closed in tho second degree . Threo gentlemen wero proposed as fit and proper persons to bo received into tho Order .

Bro . Robert Gibbons , who was elected an annuitant of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution at the recent meeting , was unauimonsly elected an honorary member of tho Lodge . Hearty good wishes were tendered by the visitors , and the routine business having beon completed , the Lodge was closed in solemn form , and the brethren adjourned for refreshment .

Lodge of True Friendship , No . 160 . —The installation meeting of this old and distinguished Lodge took place in the Lodge room , at the Old Shi p Inn , Rochford , on Thursday , the 24 th inst ., when Pro . Joseph Reeve , the W . M . elect , was duly installed for tho ensuing year . The ceremony of installation was performed by Worshipful Brother W . Pissey P . M . No . lfiO and P . P . J . G . W ., W . Bro .
