TRUE LOVE AND UNITY LODGE , No . 248 . ON Monday , 22 nd ult ., Bro . W . J . Bradden was presented by Bro . Barry P . P . G . Purs , and impressively installed W . M by Bro C . Janes P . P . G . A . Sec , assisted by Bros . W . C . Gregory , J . Janes , and Gillard . The mooting took placo at tho Masonic Hall , Brixham , and at its conclusion thirty of the brethren attended the banquet .

o o o UNANIMITY AND SINCERITY LODGE , No . 261 . ON Wednesday , the 17 th ult ., Bro . T . H . Chatfin was installed as W . M ., the ceremony being improssively performed by Bro . R . C . Else P . G . D . of England . o o o

ROYAL LODGE OF FAITH AND FRIENDSHIP , No . 270 . rpHE installation took place at the Berkeley Arms Hotel , _ L Berkeley , on the 23 rd ult . The ceremony was performed by Bro . R . V . Yassar-Smith D . P . G . M . Bro . W . P . Hadloy being installed . At the usual banquet ( which was excellently catered for by Host Brown ) the usual toasts were honoured .

o o o SOUTH SAXON LODGE , No . 311 . AT Lewes , on tho 17 th ult ., Bro . Albion Russell W . M . occupied the chair , and was supported by several present and past Provincial Grand Officers and other distinguished Masons . Tho usual business having been discharged , Bro . J . H . Bull was installed

W . M ., and he thereupon appointed his Officers . The retiring Master was presented with a P . M . ' s jewel in recognition of his able services during his year of office . Bro . James Adames was elected Charity Steward . The brethren then journeyed to Newhaven ( of which town the new W . M . is a resident ) and dined at tho London and Paris Hotel . o o o

LION LODGE , No . 312 . ON Monday , 15 th ult ., there was a numerous attendance of members at Whitby . Bro . Edward Smithson having been reelected at the December Lodge , he retains office for another year , and therefore the ceremony of installation did not form part of the programme . The new Officers were appointed .

At tho conclusion of the ceromony the brethren adjourned to tho Crown Hotol , ' where they sat down to banquet .

o o o ROYAL SUSSEX LODGE ,. No . 342 . NEARLY 100 brethren wero present to witness the installation of Bro . Charles G . Holmes , on the 17 th ult ., at Landport . Tho ceremony was performed by Bro . R . Payne W . M . A banquet followed .

o o o FAITH LODGE , No . 344 . rpHE festival of St . John was held at the Bull ' s Head Hotel

X Radcliffe , on the 11 th ult . There was a large number of visiting brethren ' . During the evening Bro . H . T . Grundy was installed , the installing Officers being Bros . Lawrenson , Green and J . H . Heap .

The customary banquet followed , when the usual toasts wero proposed and responded to .

ST . DAVID'S LODGE , No . 384 . ON the 16 th ult ., at the Masonic Hall , Bangor , Bro W . Thornton Jones was installed W . M . by Bro . Dr . H . Grey Edwards I . P . M . P . P . G . S . There was a large attendance of visiting brethren . The banquet was served at the Castle Hotel .

o o o CESTRIAN LODGE , No . 425 . ON the 18 th ult ., at Queen-street Masonic Rooms , Chester , the installation of Bro . Michael Johnson was celebrated , when there was a good attendance of members and visitors . A sumptuous

banquet was afterwards served in the dining-hall by Messrs . Bolland and Son , and the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts were given . o o o

SHAKESPEARE LODGE , No . 426 . rpHE annual festival was celebrated at the Masonic Hall , Spilsby , _ L on the 18 th , when Bro . Francis J . Walker was installed as W . M ., the retiring W . M ., Bro . A . J . Eve , performing the ceremony . The W . M . invested the Officers , and the brethren afterwards sat down to banquet , when the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts were honoured .

BOSCAWEN LODGE , No . 699 . BRO . J . H . Hambly was installed W . M . on tho 22 nd ult ., at the Masonic Rooms , Chacewater , by Bro . Fraser-Frizel assi & ted by Bros . Hall , Pascoe , and Kinsman . The sum of six guineas was voted for the various Masonic Charities , and Bro . R .

Fraser-Frizell was elected Steward of the Cornwall Masonic A . and B . Fund for the coming year . The brethren afterwards adjourned to the banquetting hall , where a most substantial banquet was served by Host Kent , of the Britannia Hotel . The Treasurer's report showed a balance of £ 108 in hand , and that the sum of nearly JB 20 had been spent in charity during the past year . o o o

CRAVEN LODGE , No . 810 . ON Friday , 26 th ult ., the members celebrated their festival in the Lodge rooms at the "Victoria Buildings , Skipton , when Bro . J . W . Broughton was installed W . M . by Bro . J . H . Hartley . A banquet at tho Devonshire Hotel followed , at which there was a good attendance . o o o

BUTE LODGE , No . 960 . AT the meeting held on the 16 th ult ., at which there was present a very large number of visitors as well as members , a most interesting ceremony took place in the shape of a presentation to the Immediate Past Master of the Lodge of a handsome

silver epergne by the initiates of his year of office . Bro . Harry Samuel W . M . received the gift as a token of regard and esteem from the brethren presenting it , and expressed himself in feeling terms in acknowledgment of their kindness . o o o

ST . JOHN'S LODGE , No . 1039 . THE annual festival was held at the George Hotel , Lichfield , on the 24 th ult . Bro . C . F . Lloyd was installed by Bro . A . Smyrk the retiring W . M . The resignation of Bro . C . Trigg as Charity . Steward was received with much regret , inasmuch as he had filled the office for 12 j ears with unqualified satisfaction . A

resolution thanking him for his services was heartily passed , and Bro . W . A . Wood was unanimously elected in his place . In the evening the members and visitors sat down to banquet in the Assembly Room . Much gratification was shown in the course of the speeches at the appointment of the Earl of Dartmouth as Provincial GJ and Master . o o o

UNDERLEY LODGE , No . 1074 . AT the installation meeting held at the Royal Hotel , Kirkby Lonsdale , on Friday , 19 th ult ., Bro . Rev . W . Cree P . M . P . P . G . U . was installed and subsequently appointed his Officers . o o o

OAKWOOD LODGE , No . 1126 . THE brethren held their annual festival in the National Schools , Romiley , on the 20 th ult ., when Bro . John Brine was installed by Bro . Thomas Walker P . M . The W . M . presented to the I . P . M . a beautiful Past Master's jewel , bearing the following inscription :
