8 . REPORT OF THE BOARD OP GENERAL PURPOSES . To the United Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of England . The Board begs to report that it has received notifications from the several District Grand Lodges in New Zealand , and from Lodges in the Colony not within those districts , to the effect that , in compliance with the requirements of Rules 218 A and 21 SB , special meetings of the Lodges within

those several districts , and of Lodges in the Colony not within such districts , had been held within the prescribed period , for the purpose of deciding whether they desiied to continue under the Grand Lodge of England or not ; and it appeared that the following Lodges had either previously seceded , ceased to work , or had by the required majority decided to place themselves under the jurisdiction of the newly-recognised Grand Lodge of New Zealand : —
