He coupled with his proposition the name of Bro . Dodson , the " Father of the Lodge , " and Bros . Burleton and Baron .

Bro . Dodson , in reply , said the executive were very pleased to have any services they had rendered recognised , but they must not forget the part that Bro . Glass had played , for they all well knew that he never did things by halves . He acknowledged the courtsey of their proposition , and in return submitted that of their Worshipful Master , whose good qualities they all recognised as well as his influence , which was manifest in the fact of his having no less a number than 145 Brethren at his installation , with a volume of 45 of his own Visitors .

Bro . Glass , in reply , warmly thanked them for their hearty acceptance of the proposition , and in graceful terms proposed the Ladies , for whom Bro . Dodson gave some appreciative and at the same time facetious acknowledgements . Thanks for various services rendered to the festival were deservedly accorded to Bros . Murrle , H . Humphreys , and Clemow .
