As an instance of the v ,-ay m which our Provinces utilise the votes for the Charities that are issued for Lodges and Brethren in their midst we may refer to the annual report of the Suffolk Masonic Charity Association , from which we learn that the indebtedness of the Province at present is 3 , 369 Benevolent votes , 1 , 000 Boys , and 300 Girls . The Committee wish to impress upon the Brethren the great importance of sending

thenvotes to the Secretary as early as possible . It was more than ever necessary to do so , as they had frequently Co be despatched by post or rail to various representatives with whom exchange and borrowing had to be arranged long before the election took place . It was therefore most desirable that the Secretary should be in a position bo study the convenience of those Provinces which were mutually interested .
