The Lord Warkworth Lodge , No . 1879 , held their annual ball in the Central Hall , Amble , on the 14 th ulfc . The hall was tastefully decorated for the occasion , with flowers and flags .

Several emblems of the Craft were hung on the walls , and the stage , which was occupied by the orchestra , was beautifully set off with flowers , supplied by Dr . Smythe , Amble House . Overforty couple were present .

The annual Ladies' Banquet and Ball in connection with the Eccleston Lodge , No . 1624 , will be held at the Criterion , on Wednesday , 19 th inst ., and is expected to be as great a success as usual .
